About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The main purpose of the Journal of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is to share the international practices of TVET, knowledge building process on TVET and contribute to the local TVET practices by providing a platform for scholarly discourse on the TVET practices. The aim is to share the knowledge, values and skills among individuals and communities with the ultimate aim of flourishing TVET knowledge and practices. To achieve this aim, the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) prioritise and promote locally analysed papers and welcome papers that focus on TVET Governance, Permeability, Quality and Relevance of TVET and Education and Employment linkage which highlights local, national, regional as well as global contexts of TVET. We publish full-length research, opinion, review papers and book reviews. The journal focuses on the TVET practitioner, academician and TVET learners.
Publication Frequency
The Journal of Technical and Vocational Education and Training is published annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Creative Commons Attribution
These articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC-BY-NC 4.0) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/). Users are permitted to share, remix, transform, and build upon the work, provided they give proper attribution to the original work.
However, the license imposes restrictions on the commercial use of the work, prohibiting others from utilizing it for profit or monetary compensation.
Peer-Review Process
The journal uses a double-blind peer review process and for each paper, two reviewers are involved. The review takes approximately 15 days after the submission. The final decision is taken by the editorial board.
