It aims to serve the students and teachers of Nepali Language and Literature and general researchers and writers in the domain of Nepali Literature and Criticism.

Pragyan provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
A single reviewer is involved per paper. The review of a paper generally takes 15 days. It is single-blind. The Editorial Board makes the final decision for publication.
