About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Patan Prospective Journal (PPJ) is a multi-disciplinary biannual double-blind peer-reviewed research journal published by the Democrat Professors’ Association, Nepal (DEPAN), Patan Multiple Campus Unit (PMC Unit), Patan Dhoka, Lalitpur, Nepal. Multi-disciplinary articles published in the PPJ share knowledge in various disciplines to contribute for global scholarship.
DEPAN established in 2063 B.S., is an association of the Democratic Professors' of Tribhuvan University (TU). DEPAN is an umbrella institution comprising of constituent and affiliated campuses. With an aim to uplift and improve the academic status quo, it thrives in strengthening rights and professionalism of academic staffs in democratic forum.
Publication Frequency
PPJ is published twice a year in the months of June and December. In every forthcoming volume, DEPAN along with the PMC Unit examines the journal to maintain quality standard. PPJ looks forward to build up the network of Peer Review editor, book review editor, managing editor and international consulting editors in order to broaden the scope of the journal.
Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer Review Process
After calling for research papers from the authors, we collect and comment on their articles before the deadline. The articles are provided to the reviewers without the contributors’ names and with specified codes for the peer-review process. Two weeks are allotted for the review procedure. Each article is sent to two reviewers (double-blind review process) of the respective discipline. Accordingly, we collect and resend to the authors the reviewers’ comments. The comments set by reviewers should be addressed by contributors for publication procedure.
