About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Medical Journal of Eastern Nepal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by B & C Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Center, Birtamode, Jhapa, Nepal. This is a new journal intended to uphold the education discussion in the field of Medical Science and its allied subjects.
In this journal, there will be approximately 8-10 articles published in each issue and there will be 2 publication per year. Our Policy is to ensure that Medical Journal of Eastern Nepal will hold the highest ethical standards and will keep pace with the advancement in the field of Medical Science and its allied subjects.
The official language of the journal is American/ British English and the journal can also be accessed in its own URL: https://www.bnchospital.edu.np . The Journal has its own ISSN number (Print and Online).
The articles published in this journal are completely free, provided the follow the norms of copyright as per Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial licence. This allows use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is property cited and is not for commercial purpose.
Publication Frequency
MJEN publishes two issues a year.

Medical journal of Eastern Nepal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use.
The copyright of the articles is held by B & C Medical College and Teaching Hospital and Research Centre.
Processing Charges
There are no processing charges for the publication of an article in the journal.
Peer-Review Policy
Medical Journal of Eastern Nepal assigns two reviewers to each article. Each reviewer will be given 3-4 weeks and authors will receive an email from the editors about the progress and decision on the manuscript.
