About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Lumbini Journal of Business and Economics (LJBE) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Research and Development Department of Lumbini Banijya Campus, Butwal, Nepal. It publishes research manuscripts in the field of business and economics. The LJBE is intended to serve the purpose of all interested readers who are in search of information regarding contemporary business and economic issues. It provides a place for ongoing dialogue amongst professionals in any subject of business and economic development, as well as possibilities for the exchange of research results, experience and insights. The papers published in the journal will be recognized with their unique DOI.
Publication Frequency
The Lumbini Journal of Business and Economics is published twice a year.
Open Access Policy
LJBE provides immediate open access to its digital content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Price for Hard Copies
Hard copies are charged for NPR 550/- or USD 20 (for outside Nepal).
Peer-Review Process
When a manuscript is submitted to LJBE, it is assessed to see if it meets the criteria for submission. If it does, the editorial team select potential peer reviewers within the field of research to peer-review the manuscript and make recommendations. Single-blind peer-review is used whereby the authors are blinded to the identity of the reviewers and editors.
