About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Journal of Research and Development (JRDN) is a yearly publication of Research and Development Nepal (RDN), Dhankuta, which is a non-profit organization affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC). This journal aims at disseminating knowledge and research works carried out in the social fields such as social sciences, public health, and education. This journal welcomes original research articles, book reviews, and conference papers. The manuscripts will be subjected to blind peer review by the subject experts before acceptance. The editorial board reserves the right of publishing the articles that have been accepted in the review process. The journal publishes ten articles maximum in one issue.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published annually.
Review Process
Each manuscript will be blindly reviewed by subject experts for possible publication with the understanding that they have not been published in any journals till the time of submission. In case of insufficient originality, methodological flaws or lack of a significant message, articles will be rejected. The author may be informed to revise his/her article considering the reviewer’s comment/s. The revised manuscript will be meticulously reviewed by the editors of JRDN and final decision will be taken.
Processing Fees
Authors do not need to pay for submission, processing or publication of articles in JRDN.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

JRDN is published by Research and Development Nepal (RDN), Dhankuta, Province-1, Nepal.
Research and Development Nepal (RDN) aims at exposing the research works and the sustainable steps forwarded for social development in the fields of social welfare. RDN is a non-profit making action oriented social development organization registered in the District Administration Office, Dhankuta on 6th October 2002 and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC) on 1st August 2007. It is also associated to NGO- Federation and Eastern Regional Participatory Action Network (ERPAN). RDN was established by team of committed social activists and academicians in order to participate and contribute to the social development of Nepal.
