About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Kathmandu BernHardt College's annual Peer Review Journal (JKBC) is dedicated to advancing knowledge in science, arts, management, and literature. It provides a platform for scholarly discourse, hosting original research, reviews, and valuable academic contributions that shed light on scientific progress, entrepreneurship, human values, and education.
The fourth edition proudly showcases ten articles, highlighting contemporary research led by our faculty members. These articles stress the importance of both local and global perspectives in scholarly discussions. We remain committed to publishing such articles as we believe they are instrumental in advancing technology and raising awareness. It's important to note that while the Editorial Board reviews articles, we cannot guarantee absolute data accuracy, and the views expressed belong to the authors.
Our overarching objective is to disseminate knowledge across fields like science, IT, management, arts, and literature. We welcome integrative papers from aspiring and established researchers, encouraging support for our mission of knowledge-sharing in research. Future issues will encompass opinion pieces, reviews, short notes, reflections, book reviews, and student research project abstracts. If you have relevant contributions, please submit them to the editorial board for consideration.
We extend our sincere thanks to the College's Management Committee, faculty, and diligent reviewers for their invaluable support in bringing this issue to life. We enthusiastically welcome comments, queries, suggestions, and correspondence from our valued readers and contributors, acknowledging the significance of your engagement.
History
The previous title of the journal was Quest Journal of Kathmandu BernHardt College.
Publication Frequency
JKBC is published annually.
Open Access Policy
JKBC provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer-Review Process
Each paper is anonymized and examined by two referees, who are scholars in closely associated domains. After compiling their feedback, the author is tasked with revising the material in a matter of four to six weeks. The article is then forwarded to the executive committee for one last review if approved by the coordinator. The executive committee grants final approval (or returns it to the writer for small modifications, or sometimes rejects it).
