About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The journal publishes in English the theoretical and empirical original academic research and scholarly high standard discussion in the fields of development and social engineering including humanitarian development, social development, economic development, gender, globalization, environment, human resource development, language and communication, law and development, population, poverty, social enterprises, social dynamics, people, places public policy, regional development, rural development, social welfare, social work, urbanization and rural development, tourism, and the status of development, among others.
Submitted papers are refereed, and are evaluated on the basis of academic contribution to advancing understanding of development and social engineering along with their creativity, quality of scholarship, completeness of the content and the structure/components of research, clarity of the presentation and organization, accuracy and correctness academically, thoroughness in discussion and conclusion, appropriate referencing and citation, and language usage.
Frequency of publication
The journal publishes two issues per volume.
