IDJINA: Interdisciplinary Journal of Innovation in Nepalese Academia is a bi-annual research journal published by Kathmandu Model College (KMC), Bagbazar, Kathmandu, Nepal.It provides a forum for the publication of scholarly articles in the fields of management, computer application, and humanities & social sciences.

IDJINA provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The articles in IDJINA are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. This license allows reusers to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form only, for non-commercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.

The Editorial Board/Team determine whether the received manuscript fits the journal’s focus, scope and general framework. Any manuscript out of the journal’s scope is rejected at the desk review. The manuscript which is good but not in the IDJINA framework is requested to be sent again under the journal’s framework and guidelines. The decision that the manuscript does not fit is provided to the authors along with an explanation and (optionally) a recommendation on alternative publication options. The selected manuscripts that clear the screening are sent to at least two experts for peer review. At least one reviewer is from outside the members listed in the editorial board.
IDJINA used the double-blind system for peer review. Both reviewers’ and the authors’ identity remain anonymous. The reviewers provide recommendations to the journal editors as to whether the manuscript should be rejected or accepted (with or without revisions). IDJINA considers the feedback from peer reviewers and makes an informed decision to accept or reject the manuscript.
IDJINA proves an automated mail to the corresponding author regarding acknowledgement of their paper. Then it takes about one week for the initial decision (editorial decisions whether to send the paper for review). The peer review process lasts three to seven weeks depending upon the reviewers’ time schedules. Authors are provided a maximum of two to three weeks to resubmit their manuscript, by incorporating all the comments provided by the reviewers. Then, respective reviewers are provided with the modified manuscript with a week for final decision. The average time for the article review is 12 weeks (around 3 months) from submission to acceptance. All accepted articles will first be published online and then immediately in the print publication.
IDJINA is supported by the Research Management Cell of Kathmandu Model College which bears all the costs of publication and distribution of the journal.
