The EFFORTS, Journal of Education and Research (EJER) is a peer-reviewed open access research journal published by the Research Management Cell (RMC), Nilkantha Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. EJER publishes research articles, research reports and book reviews annually (in June) and serves as a platform for researchers, scholars, academic professionals, universities, and research organizations.

The journal uses a double-blind peer review process. The Editorial Board goes through a ‘screen edit’ to the manuscript submitted by the authors when they receive articles. If the article meets the given criteria and the authors guidelines provided then the article will be sent to potential reviewers. A manuscript is sent to two reviewers. If the editorial board do not find the review satisfactory, it will be sent to another potential reviewer. After getting reviewer’s consent, the author is notified of the process. When the reviewers send the reviewed manuscript, editors send them to the author with the comments provided by the respective reviewers. If the manuscript has to be accepted for publication, the editorial board makes the final decision, then informs the author and prepares for final publication.The review process takes approximately six months.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
