About NOAJ

The Nepal Orthopaedic Association Journal (NOAJ) is a biannual journal and an official publication of the Nepal Orthopaedic Association. NOAJ is a scientific biomedical journal devoted to Clinical orthopedics, intending to provide opportunities for a free exchange of ideas and information on health, the healthcare system, and medical education related to orthopedics and trauma. All efforts are being made to make NOAJ a standard journal and a forum from which the research conducted in various disciplines in Clinical orthopedics, the reviews, and the novel and unique cases we encounter during our professional careers can be made available to our readers. We strictly follow the guidelines “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Writing and Editing for Biomedical Publication” established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.

Focus and Scope

The journal publishes articles related to research done in the field of biomedical sciences related to orthopedics and trauma. The Journal would publish peer-reviewed original research papers, case reports, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Editorials, Guest editorials, brief communications, tips and techniques, and letters to the editor are solicited by the editorial board.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The aim of NOAJ is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly articles thereby promoting their increased usage and impact. Hence, JNHRC grants permission to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles which is available online (http://noaj.org.np) freely.

Authors do not have to pay for submission, processing or publication of articles at NOAJ.
