Author Biographies

Abin Shrestha

Abin Shrestha is a highly acclaimed cartoonist. Thousands of his cartoons have been published in various newspapers and magazines. His works have been exhibited several times in Nepal and abroad. A collections of his cartoon under the name 'Abin's Cartoons, Part 1' has been published, in addition to illustrations on dozens of children literature and textbooks. He has many accolades to his name. He is president of Cartoonist Club of Nepal. Currently, he is associated to the Kantipur Publications as a senior cartoonist. He is a visiting faculty of Sirjana College of Fine Arts.

Dewendra Pandey

Dewendra Pandey is popularly known as 'Dewen’ in the cartoon world. He has been involved in publication/designing field for the past 25 years. He deserves credit for introducing 3D card design and production in Nepal. He has exhibited a solo pop-ups card design for the first time in Nepal in 2003. He currently works as a senior illustrator/ designer in the Nagarik and Republica daily. He is a visiting faculty of Sirjana College of Fine Arts.

Kuldip Jang Bahadur Gurung

Kuldip Jang Bahadur Gurung, an alumni of Sirjana College of Fine Arts, works as an Art Officer in the Department of Archeology. He has been awarded with "Nepal Vidhya Bhusan - Ga" in 2014 for scoring highest marks in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University.
