Shambhu Ram Simkhada, Former Nepali Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Ambassador to Switzerland

Dr. Shambhu Ram Simkhada, former Nepali Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Ambassador to Switzerland and Chair of UN’s Human Rights Commission (Council), now writes and lectures on transformative International Relations. “Daring, Delightful and Transformative” is how his book Nepal India China Relations in the 21st Century has been described. After Human Rights Human Wrongs in the Scale of Human Conscience (Routledge, 2021), his new book Triumph and Trauma of Transition has been reviewed as a "powerful, provocative and captivating window into Democracy, Diplomacy and Peace Building in Nepal".
