Abstract

The pathogen Fusarium oxysporum during its different stages of growth-mycelia, mat of mycelia, microconidia and megaconidia-liberates several toxic substances that either inactivate the cells or lysis of even xylem and phloem tissues of the host plant Oscimum americanum.
