Ethnobotanical Research and Education in Chitwan District, Nepal

This paper highlights status of ethnobotanical research through a review work of 17 publications. This paper also lists 21 individuals from eight institutions involved in the ethnobotanical study of the Tharu, Darai, Chepang and other ethnic groups and discloses the name of seven donors of national and international levels that provided fund for research in the past. Along with these, attempts have also been made to list current course syllabus on 'ethnobiology' introduced at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Rampur.
