Membranous glomerulonephritis is a major cause of nephrotic syndrome and chronic renal insufficiency in adults with a male preponderance. This case has been reported as it is rarely encountered in our clinical practice and its natural course of progression is unpredictable despite immunosuppressive therapies. Male gender, older age, hypertension and persistent proteinuria are associated with worse prognosis. Keywords: Membranous glomerulonephritis; therapies; prognosis.
