Pradeep Acharya, Lecturer in Anthropology at Mechi Multiple Campus, Jhapa and a PhD scholar at Tribhuvan University

Acharya, Pradeep, is Lecturer in Anthropology at Mechi Multiple Campus, Jhapa and a PhD scholar at Tribhuvan University, Nepal and his focus of research is in Anthropology of Ethnicity among the Paharis of Nepal. After completing MA (2001), he has been continually involved in teaching at different levels in constituent and affiliated colleges of Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University and Purvanchal University in and outside Kathmandu valley. He has published some scientific articles in different journals. He is trained and passed through varieties of professional experiences regarding tourism, community mobilization, mind development, psycho-social counseling. He was also a faculty at this Department from 2002-2006 and he served as a member of the managerial board of the First Volume and has been contributing regularly.
